Baby K'Tan now available

posted 28 Sep 2011, 00:40 by Jo-Maree Courtney   [ updated 28 Sep 2011, 00:58 by Jo-Maree Courtney ]

Thanks to the folks at Tiny Little Elefants we now have two Baby K'Tan Baby Carriers available to hire through the library. The Baby K'Tan is made of two loops of stretchy fabric so it works like a stretchy wrap but doesn't involve any wrapping or tying so it's as easy to use as a pouch. Because the loops are sewn it is not adjustable therefore it is important to get the right size. We have a small and a medium available for you to try. Please get in touch if you are interested.

Caboo available to hire!

The Close Baby Carrier has been renamed Caboo and thanks to Oz Baby Trends we now have one available to hire. This carrier was my introduction to babywearing and I used it almost daily for my son's first year. I highly recommend it to new parents, especially if you find the idea of tying a stretchy wrap a bit daunting.

Thanks to the lovely people at Babes in Arms we now have an Ergo Baby carrier available to hire. This is probably the most popular soft structured carrier in Australia so we are really pleased to have one for parents to try.

Today the Sling Library received a lovely new Manduca donated by Fertile Mind. The Manduca is my personal favourite soft structured carrier and I'm really pleased to now have one that can be hired out to library members.
